Castle Plains - Uni-colour Heat-transfer Paper

The use of CASTLE PLAIN uni-colour heat-transfer paper gives customers many advantages over conventional piece-dyeing:-

1. reduction in inventory
- the sole fabric requirement is a single SKU in finished state
- colourways are held as transfer paper, at a fraction of the cost compared to an SKU of every colourway of conventionally dyed fabric

2. short run lengths
- the exact length can readily be printed, doing away with minimum dye lots - again reducing inventory range of fabric substrate
- the same shade of heat-transfer paper can print a wide variety of base cloths, enabling colour co-ordinated fabric ranges to be easily produced - again to exact order size		  

3. speed of response
- once papers are in stock, fabric can be transfer calendered to order on a just-in-time basis, irrespective of workload constraints in a conventional dyeworks

4. range of widths
- any colourway can be supplied at any of the standard widths, ie 160, 185, 230, 320cm: or can be trimmed to a specified exact width.
- wide papers (ie over 185cm) have no join, and are therefore suitable for the most critical end-uses

Special shades will be matched in our colour laboratory, and submitted for approval before full-scale production.
